Sometimes when God makes a promise to us that seems to be way out in the future we can tend to hold on and settle for something that is right in front of us. We may hold on to relationships, plans, dreams and/or a set of goals. Many times these are the very things that are hindering us from the supernatural plan that God has for our lives. This message provokes us to have a direct confrontation with these things and a mindset that says this thing needs to go! As we begin to let go God will begin to take us into the blessings that were already promised to us. The rest comes when we simply agree with God in every area of our life.

Passionate Love for Jesus

Have you ever gotten so low with Jesus that you washed His feet with your tears? God wants us to serve Him with a humble heart. We are to pray, love and give passionately in the service of God. Half hearted devotion is unacceptable in the Kingdom of God. This message provokes us to cry out to God so He can fill us with the intensity and fire of the Holy Spirit. Give everything you have to the Lord and watch the miraculous unfold in your life!

The Problem With Peter

Peter's problem was not that he was impetuous or quick at the lip. At the base of all Peter's issue was the Cross. The Cross doesn’t promise that when we agree to walk with God that the storms in our lives will cease. The Cross doesn’t offer a “mountain top” religion with all glory and no pain. There is nothing pretty or desirable about the Cross. Nobody wants to suffer or have the deepest issues of their heart uprooted. Nevertheless the Cross must become central to a Christian's life. When we choose to identify with the Cross we are choosing to die to a self-centered life and to live a life that is others-centered. Sometimes the biggest Cross we have to bear is coming to terms with the fact that we cannot bear our cross in our own strength. Give up your “power” to help yourself and let God's power lift you up and take you where you cannot go in your own strength.

The Supernatural Hand of Faith

What a mess we make in the Kingdom of God when we try to perfect or complete the work of God in the natural. Jesus Christ brings true victory to those who simply walk in faith. We must cast off the natural and come back to the supernatural power of God. It is a wonderful thing to be led of the Spirit. It is an awful thing to be led by the flesh. God gives us His Word and with His Word comes supernatural strength. Whatever you are struggling with God will make a way of escape. God is faithful and you will not be triumphed over.

An Invitation to Die

What does it mean to die? We are given an invitation from Christ to follow Him into His death so that His life can be manifested in us. If we attempt to hold on to a false view of ourselves and our own sense of what we think our life should be, we risk losing the glory of God that could have been revealed to us and through us. Jesus was born to die and born to be given for others. True life comes when we are totally abandoned to the work of God. The power of the Christian life is found in being given for others. Our Cry must be “Father glorify your name!”

Why You Won't Quit

There will be many seasons in our life when our heart becomes heavy and we are tempted to draw back from what the Lord is calling us to do. When you get tempted to quit, fix your eyes on Jesus our Savior who was crucified with His arms open wide so He could embrace humanity. Whenever times get rough allow the Cross to lead you to a totally surrendered life. The ability not to quit comes from the power of the Cross. We don't give up, because in the deepest part of our suffering Jesus is there and He promises never to leave us. We are called to make an imprint of freedom for next generation.

Learning From the Winners

When we attempt to stand in our own strength we can be sure we will fall. Pride tells us we can do things in our own strength - independent from God. It is important to remember that in the midst of our struggles and failures Jesus is praying that our faith will not fail. When you fail don't throw in the towel. Keep coming back to God so He can pick you up and give you the courage and strength to go on. Pride will take us down but humility will cause is to stand by God's grace. The only way we can be victorious is in Christ. This message reminds us that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us!

The Power of Praise

As Christians we must understand the power of praise and how it affects our lives. We all have problems but we also have a God in heaven who wants to solve them. Satan is always reducing God and increasing our problems. But when we are in the atmosphere of praise we begin to see everything in the right perspective. God gets bigger, our problems get smaller and Satan has to flee. We can choose to praise God and thank Him for His mercy and faithfulness. Praise Him because we know He is the answer to all our problems. God is greater than anything we will go through and He is able to accomplish the impossible. Let's make a choice to stop worrying and start praising God. The One who saved us can keep us!

Don't Forget to Remember

This message encourages us to take every opportunity to intentionally bring to mind what Jesus Christ accomplished for us on Cavalry's Tree. So that we will be able to endure in times of difficulty and not grow proud in times of prosperity. Jesus gives us a mandate to remember all He has done for us. We must remember when we had no hope and no strength and God stretched out His hand and freed us from all our bondage. Also, remember to love, esteem and pray for the body of Christ. Lastly, remember the lost. Don't forget to care for the people who don't necessarily care for you. Remember the Cross and what Jesus sacrificed for us so we can live in true freedom.

The Truth About the Lie

There will come a time in the life of every Christian believer when we can have the privilege of defending God's character against the devil. The enemy comes with a lie within the lie. First he lies to us about ourselves and then he lies about God. Ultimately he attempts to distract and deceive to keep us out of the prayer closet and out of our Bibles. Ultimately the attack is always against the goodness and faithfulness of God. In Christ we have the power and the privilege to declare that God is good, God's will is best and His love for us endures forever. When the enemy comes like a flood don't run away from God, run into His arms and declare His goodness and watch the devil have to flee!

Beware of Smiting the Rock

When we come to Christ we must by faith believe that our sins were paid in full by His precious Blood. The Bible says He was wounded for our transgressions and He was bruised for our iniquities. The sacrifice was made one time and we don’t have to smite the Rock (Jesus) again. We don’t have to keep going to an altar call for salvation every time we fail. Salvation leads us into the completeness of Christ and we are invited to come boldly the throne of grace when we are weak and struggling. It doesn't matter what your need is today, come to Jesus and begin to speak to Him. Don't wait until you are strong, come when your weak and pour out your heart to Him. You can walk in assurance and confidence because of the Blood. Come and speak to Jesus, He wants to hear your voice.

Weeping Over the Provision of God

When we fail to appreciate the provision of God and don’t understand where He is leading us we will go backwards instead of forward. What a tragedy when we don’t see the divine purpose for our life and the Bible becomes a closed book. God provides for us manna from heaven and all the strength we need for our journey. It doesn't matter how difficult our trials become, we are called to go into the Bible and get God's vision for our lives because it will strengthen you and those around you. We serve the God of the miraculous and if we get into His Word there will be all the provision we need so that as the years go by we will be like a green tree full of fresh oil.

The Cry of the Cross

There comes a time in life when we will have to choose who and what we are identified with. We cannot move towards the cross and still be indentified with the world. We must get close enough to the cross that we are indentified with Jesus. When Jesus cried from the cross ,'It is finished", He broke the grip that the world and sin had on us. We will not be triumphed over because of the finished work of Calvary!

For Those Who Love Life

When fear and doubt try to captivate you and your back is against the wall cry out to God and He will hear and answer you. God will send angels to protect you. God is near to those who recognize their need for him. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord promises to deliver His people. This message reminds us to go after the right things and turn away from the wrong things and when you need God the most He is just as close as the mention of His name. When was the last time you cried out to God? Psalm 34 says the poor man cried out and God delivered him from all his fears.

Jesus Cares

We are living in a time when all the options of a safe and secure future are running out. The Church of Jesus Christ will never fully know the miracles of God's compassion until we run out of resources. We need a vision of our smallness combined with a vision of God's greatness. Jesus will wait until all human effort and reasoning are gone so we don't take credit for His miracles. A great touch of God is coming to those with a childlike faith who bring Jesus the little they have so He can multiply it.

Becoming a Child of the Day

When we got saved Jesus took up residency in our heart and the very work that He was doing on earth came to us. He planted His heart and life in us and called us to join Him with His work on earth. A child of the day has a cry in their heart that says, “Jesus come and put a deposit of your love and life in me so I can reach out to the poor and needy.” In the last days the Bible says iniquity will abound and our love for one another will grow cold. It will get so vile and evil in the end times that many in the church will wrongly come to the conclusion that people are not worth giving our life for. This message reminds us not to bury the life of Christ in the cold ground of a hardened heart. Cry out to God until you are gripped with the value of one soul.

His Word, Our Lamp

As Christians we must choose to walk in the light of scriptures. We cannot make decisions based on our feelings or what we think is right. We must choose God's way above all else. God will forgive us and empower us to forgive. He will love us and enable us to love. Your situation is not impossible. When you love God and love His Word all things become possible. Today trust God to give you all His love and power to walk so we can be a light in a dark world.

A Night and a Day in the Deep

In these last days we will face every kind of storm. When the waves of difficulties come crashing in on us we must trust God and stand on every promise in the Bible. When God says we are going to the other side we do not need a second opinion in the storm. There is supernatural strength that will be given to us when we choose to obey God and simply take Him at His Word. This message reminds us to grab on to the Cross and hold on until Jesus takes us to the other side. No additional word is necessary. What God has spoken should be good enough to keep us no matter how dark the days get.

Answers From the Secret Place of Thunder

As Christians we have within us the true God who spoke the universe into existence. The frailty of our vessels will not stop God from being God to us. When God allows us to go through difficult times we sometimes question if He is able to do the impossible in our situation. This message reminds us to take our eyes off our failures and fix our eyes on Jesus. Thank the Lord for what He has done for you. God will lead you into the secret place of thunder where the impossible becomes possible and the natural ends and the supernatural begins.

Overcoming the Great Temptation

Jesus knew what it was to minister according to God's will in times of great difficulty and sorrow. He was a man of sorrow and acquainted with grief. As Christians we will have to go through betrayals, disappointments and painful experiences. It is in these seasons when we will be tempted to resolve in our heart that we will endure to the end but we will not allow ourselves to be hurt again! Have you been there? Are you there now? This message is a reminder of the radical love that was demonstated on the Cross. In Christ we can find strength to refuse to be offended and to become vulnerable again even if we know we might get hurt again. Will you choose to trust God down the road less traveled?

Winning With the Word

The Word of God is not just another book. The Bible is God in written from. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. People perish without the knowledge of the Word of God. When we have the Word of God in us we can stand through every storm with a supernatural strength and courage. As a Christian it is vital for us to go beyond reading the Word of God to loving it. Ask God to help you to honor His Word. God's Word must not be second to anything in our life. Above all else honor and love God and His Word.

When Obedience Makes You Dance

What would be the outcome if we would simply choose to obey God? At some point we have to realize that the same God who created the universe lives inside of us and will enable us to accomplish all that He's called us to do. There comes a time when God doesn't have to speak anymore because you already know what He wants you to do. God says put away the old man and put away the old nature. He is seeking for a man after His own heart who would simply walk in obedience with Him. Are you embracing something that God has clearly told you to put away? The word of the Lord to you today is obey God! Obedience is the beginning of the journey of dancing.

Praying Through to the Fullness of Joy

There is a flood of joy that Jesus Christ has for His church. When we don’t press through to where God would have us to go a dryness will set in our spirit. We must have the courage to go beyond salvation freedom and provision. God is calling us to press through in prayer, knowing we have nothing to bring to others if He does not give it to us. In the secret closet of prayer we will become one with the heart and hands of Jesus. The fullness of Joy comes when we are walking one in heart and one in mind with the Son of God who gave Himself for the souls of man. Ask and believe that your joy may be full!

The Lord's Comforts Delight My Soul

It doesn't matter how high the tides of anxiety rise, the Lord has made provision to comfort and delight our soul. How does Jesus break through an anxious and distracted heart? He speaks the same word to you that He spoke to Martha, “one thing is needful”. What did He mean by this? He is saying to His church that He has provided a place for us to sit beside Him. A place reserved just for you. When this truth pierces a Christian's heart we will find ourselves in His presence and the power of anxiety will be broken. He invites us to a place of divine participation and it is our privilege to wake up each morning and be found sitting at His feet. The cry of God to His church is to wake up and pray!

A Message That Must Be Heard

We live in a society that desires to shut the mouth of God and close the mouth of those who would testify of God faithfulness. When we are in the midst of trials and hardship and we begin to speak about our pain we must always remember to bring everything back to the Cross and remind ourselves how Jesus suffered for us. Because of the Cross we can get through every situation knowing Jesus has provided everything we need to live in victory. The Holy Spirit wants to preach a message through our lives that will shake the world and bring Glory to God. Will you allow you life to become a message that preaches victory from the cross?

Free, Surrounded and Shouting For Joy!

Blessed is the man in whom there is no guile. God calls us to walk with Him in truth. When we get to the point where we try to cover the sin that God puts His finger on, we open a door of deception that leads us into a dark season. God in His mercy will send a messenger with a message for you to deal with your sin. If we have the courage to turn from our sin He will forgive and cleanse us. God is not against you He is for you. You can be free from sin, surrounded by His mercy and shouting for joy. Don't wait one more minute, deal with your sin!

Give Me a Reason to Not Give Up

This message is for those who feel like giving up and have been wrestling with the following questions: Why does it seem like the unsaved are so much better off than I am? How come my walk is so narrow and strict while others in the body of Christ seem to be at liberty to enjoy a broader walk and are free to enjoy pleasures that I am deprived of? Your cry is God just give me one reason to go on with this journey. The reason is for the salvation of souls. Those who walk narrow will have something of God revealed through them so that many souls can be snatched out of the fires of hell. Judgment is coming and God wants you to be a testimony to every lost soul. Will you live your life for the betterment of others? You are going to heaven and God wants to use you to take some souls with you.

God is Incredible

God chose us and it seemed like we were the least likely to succeed. The Lord never asks us for anything but our heart. As God begins to show us who He is, He will also show us who we are in Him. We come to understand that we have nothing, but He has everything. We recognize the only way we can do the impossible is to know that we are in the hands of the incredible. What is the thing that causes you the most fear? Now take that and compare it to God

Stretch Out Your Hands to the Will of God

Do we have the moral courage like Daniel to see our part in what has become a spiritual landslide in this generation? We must go into the prayer closet and allow the Holy Spirit to show us where we neglected to do what God has called us to do. Our cry must be, “How can my life bring glory to God?” We must turn away from everything that hinders us from glorifying God. The key to get out of our struggle is total surrender to the will of God! When we stretch out our hands to His will, God will do something supernatural in us and through us.
